Holly Woods and East Village FAQ's

 

Chris and Lisa are happy to answer any questions you may have about Holly Woods and the East Village. Below are frequently asked questions about living off campus at Holly Woods and the East Village Townhouses.

Can our group schedule a tour?

 

Starting in September of 2023, we will be having tours daily.  Please call, 302-547-9481, or email, hollywoodshousing@comcast.net, for an appointment.   We have virtual tours of  both of the complexes on this Website.  Check them out!   Optional:  All Participants wear Face Coverings while touring the houses.

Does it cost anything to apply?

 

No, there is no cost to apply.  If you are accepted to live at Holly Woods or East Village, we will make an appointment to sign a lease with all participants present.  At that time, there is a $50.00 per person Application Fee due at the lease signing.

What is the rent for Holly Woods for a 5 person lease?

 

Our middle houses rent for $3540.00 per month/$708.00 per person.  End houses, which have more radiant light, rent for $3640.00 per month/$728.00 per person. Rent is paid Quarterly for the lease.   Prices subject to change without notice.  All utilities are paid by tenant.

What is the rent for East Village for a 6 person lease?

 

Our middle houses rent for $4824.00 per month, which comes to $804.00 per person.  End houses, which have more radiant light, rent for $4932.00 per month/$822.00 per person.    Rent is paid Quarterly for the lease.  Prices subject to change without notice. All utilities are paid by tenant.

Are the Utilities included? Furnished?
 

Our tenants  pay their own utilities and provide their own furnishings.   We do provide Mini Blinds for most windows and Tension Rods for hanging Drapery.

Air Conditioning?  What appliances come with my rental at Holly Woods and East Village?

 

Yes, All units are well insulated and have Central Air.  We provide an Electric Range/Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator and a Washer and Dryer.  East Village Units come with a Microwave/Stove Vent Fan.  Also, refer to the  Floor Plans under Holly Woods and East Village on this Website for the lay out and estimated square footage.

Where can I park my car?

 

At Holly Woods, we provide a total one indoor and two outdoor parking spaces, and at the East Village, we provide a total of four garage parking spaces.

What condition can I expect to find my apartment on Move In Day in June?

​

During the turnover of new full house leases, we generally touch up paint, steam clean carpeting, and professionally clean the townhouse.  Repairs and updates are often completed during our turnover period, however additional time during the summer may be required depending on the project at hand.
