The owners and proprietors of Holly Woods Townhomes and East Village are husband and wife, Chris Cochran and Lisa Bartolozzi. Together they maintain 25 apartments for 135 students of the University of Delaware.

 

Chris and Lisa have lived in Newark for over 28 years.  They enjoy the vibrant and stimulating environment of the University, where they both attended undergradutate school,  and the 'small town feel' of the greater Newark Community.

 

Chris owned and operated High Energy Gym for 25 years, at the site where Holly Woods is located, prior to providing student housing on the East Campus of the University of Delaware.  He enjoys cycling, travel, and doing historic home renovations. He is currently working on a 19th century farmhouse and barn located in Landenburg, PA.

 

Lisa is a fine artist with her studio in Newark.  A painter in the figurative and landscape tradition, she has works in local collections at  the University Museum Gallery, The Delaware Art Museum, the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, DE and the Arnot Art Museum in Elmira, NY.  She has works in numerous private collections and has work with the Forum Gallery in New York City.
